Lazy Friday

| Comments

Ahh, came home tonight and crashed on the couch. So nice to come home and take a little nap - rejuvenated me in preparation for the rest of a …crazy night!

Sleep

| Comments

I’ve been trying to get 6.5 hours of sleep each night lately, as I’ve identified that as my sweet spot. I must say…it’s quite nice waking up in the morning easily and not being completely drained.

Jumpstarting

| Comments

Welp - had to jumpstart the ‘ol car tonight. The battery was DEAD, dead. After 16 minutes, it barely turned over. After an additional 20 minutes, it finally fired up and after unfreezing the right rear brake, I was on my way. By that point, the jumper cables were pretty hot! Oh well - at least it’s running again.

It Has Begun

I felt I should mention the beginning of the war on here. My best wishes go to those men and women fighting for what I hope is freedom.

French Military Victories

| Comments

At least some people still have a sense of humor these days. Go to Google and type “french military victories” into the search box and then click the I’m Feeling Lucky button. I’ve provided a straight link if you don’t feel like typing. ;)

Women’s Rights in the Draft

| Comments

So with the recent ultimatum by Bush, I started pondering the draft and…of all things…women’s rights. Now, if women want to be given every opportunity that men are given, of course I would argue that every woman 18 to 25 years old should be required to fill out a little postcard that indicates they are willing to sacrifice themselves for the great glory of the United States of America. Oddly enough, I haven’t seen any women’s rights parades about how women are not included in the draft. Why not, huh? That’s probably the most sexist thing I have heard of where women are not given the opportunity to succeed in the same fashion as men!

Alright, all sarcasm aside. If women want equal rights, it should be across the board.

Dual-Headed Laptops

| Comments

Oooh - sweet - dual-headed laptops. When held vertical, both screens show almost like a book. When set horizontal, one screen becomes a touch-screen with a keypad showing on it. Very schwag - my next toy??

Passing Out

| Comments

yawn So I passed out before 10:00pm tonight. Hotel rooms must make me sleepy or something… :-\

And Back Again

| Comments

Ahh…Back home again. Mildly uneventful trip home with the exception of the middle seat and the driver who decided to take the back roads back to the office instead of the highway…
