The End of an Era

Jordan played his last game tonight. Ever since I was eight years old an an Aunt bought me a Jordan poster and I had no clue who he was, I’ve been a fan. Jordan always pushed himself to be the best he could be and never relaxed during a game. Whether that’s had some sort of subconcious effect on my own desire to play to the bone is unknown, but I’ve always been in awe of his airness. And I can’t say I’ve heard too much controversy about him off the court, either, which is very impressive considering some of the antics of other players. Apparently, the Sixers gave Jordan two free throws at the end of the game. He hit them both for a total of 32,292 points in his career. Simply amazing. He will be missed.
