Yesterday, I ended up doing a little less than I expected. First thing I did was eat lunch at a cafe where I wrote down everything I had done the past few days. Then I ran into another of the interns that works at the Guggenheim, so I accompanied her for a while. I then visited the church of San Polo and went back home. Then it was off to the Guggenheim to look at art. I liked the Empire of Light and The Sun in Its Jewel Case. Today, I’m going to visit the islands of Murano (Murano glass ring a bell…they do glass blowing there) and Torcetto. ...

Well, Linds has to work the rest of the time, so I am on my own! I think I’ll wander around Venice for a little bit ’ visit a couple more churches and maybe tomorrow I’ll take a trip off of Venice somewhere. For now though, I have to go get

Hello from Venice! I’m in a little Internet shop and am attempting to use their Italian keyboard which makes things somewhat difficult occasionally. I’ve seen: Lots of very cool churches A museum or two A number of ducks in a butcher shop with their heads still attached Many, many beuatiful sights. I haven’t done too much shopping yet, but I plan to start that very soon. I left some extra room in my suitcase for a reason! ...

ARGH! Will we never determine what is and is not good for us?! Decaf is getting a bad rap now too. It seems every other month “new research” suggests that something we previously thought was good is actually bad for us, or vice versa. Another example, a story saying that beer is good for you. It’s getting almost comical. Are we as a society just morons, or are these “researchers” just looking for grants…sigh. I guess I should go into work.
