Ahh…a nice lazy bum weekend. Tried to go out and do some shopping today though. I was planning on getting up early, but since I stayed up until 5AM switching my site over to the new server, I didn’t quite get going as early as I wanted to. But I headed out around 2ish and the Christmas traffic was just unbelievable. Best Buy must be doing a heckload of business this season. Their parking lot was incredibly packed. Circuit City was the next most popular tech store, while CompUSA still had parking spaces available in its parking lot. gasp I didn’t find too much, but then I hit World Market and found alllll kinds of good stuff that I hope people like. :) World Market is quite the awesome place…

Well, that power outage also reset the goodIP I had been holding on to for quite a while. So…the move to the bigger, better, webserver has been pushed ahead like lightning. Well that was rather annoying! I was lying in bed kind of dozing off with my light still on listening to the hum of my servers. All of a sudden, everything went dark and quiet. I peer outside, and all the lights in the parking lot were off as well. 10-15 seconds later, everything came back on and I hopped out of bed in a flash. I threw open the closet door and powered on each server one by one. I ran to my laptop, the one machine stil powered on, and pinged the ip’s that I knew should be on. Now Dually, now Dipshell, now Dip and Duality. The icmp requests arose such a clatter, when what should I see before my wonderous eyes, but icmp replies in 0.3ms time. ...

I went and saw Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers last night. It was amazing! The cinematography was absolutely beautiful and stunning and the movie as a whole was very well done. There were also some outstanding matrix-like moves by Legolas that caused the crowd to erupt on applause. :)

sigh of relief Christmas vacation. So what do you want for christmas?
