awwwww man! Which OS are You? I was at least hoping to end up being a Debian like kita.

Well, it seems my ISP has permanently blackholed my IP. I guess it’s a good thing I moved everything over to John Companies. I’ve been very happy with them so far.

Wow - what a day! I left my apartment at 7:10am this morning and just now returned at 11:25pm. thunk

It’s 4am and I have to go to sleep, but at least I have something to show for my efforts. Check out the spiffy, new DCortesi . com! It’s currently a work in progress and as you can obviously see, I’ve got a lot of work to do on it. While it may not look very different, it will function extremely different behind the scenes. I’ve also cleaned up the code behind it so that it complies with certain standards for good reason. I’ve read lots of things lately that convinced me to go ahead and do this, most notably dive into mark’s 30 days to a more accessible weblog. I also like some of the things he’s done on that site, such as the permanent links include the title names, which makes a lot of sense. ...

Kita questioned if this is how the male mind works. I don’t know why she questioned, as that is a perrrrfect example. grin Yes, yes, I know - bed. But good tunes keep coming on VH1…go figure.

It looks like the site is coming along nicely. Unfortunately, I’m back to creating new entries in SQL. Here’s a list of things I’ve done…and things to do. Before I hit the sack, I wanted to quickly describe how the new code is layed out. I’m making egregious use of objects on the backend. For example, right now I’ve got database, blog, and entry objects. While that doesn’t seem too impressive, that design will help with expandibility of the site in the future. Mary J. Bilge just came on VH1, so even though I’d like to break out the dance I have to go to sleep.

I just the SuperBowl trailer for The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions a minute ago. Looks like they’re going to be even better than the first in terms of FX - it gave me chills.
