I do nothing but complain, eh? Just as my internet connection is getting stable, they go and have their “software glitch” and my ip is under a complete different provider in the whois database and my connection is more unstable than ever. Exhibit A: 64 bytes from 129.21.3.102: icmp_seq=500 ttl=54 time=29.909 sec Yes, folks…that is a 30 second ping from my cable modem piggybacked over a T1 to an OC3 connection. Sad…very sad.

My desk is finally all put together. I’ll slap some pictures up when I have some time.

Wow, this is severly annoying. Around 12 or 1 PM CST, my cable company was doing an upgrade. Apparently, a “software glitch” occured during the upgrade which resulted inan internet blackout for approximately 6 hours. However, service was eventually restored around 7:30 and everybody was happy and the cable guys probably went home.However, once again tonight, the internet died. Nobody’s home at the cable company so it won’t be until morning when they realize their software glitch has popped up again. And who knows how long it will take to get reconnected after that…In other news, my desk arrived today, some assembly required. For some reason, the instructions said not to use a power drill. Doesn’t matter since I don’t have one anyway, but I probably would have bought one. My right hand is so extremely raw.I’ve gotta hit the sack though, need to get up early and get an emissions sticker and look for some renters insurance.

Next time I’ve got some extra money, this is what I need to build. Of course, I also want a car one of these days which would probably take precedence…

Well that was cute - My cable company was upgrading software today and experienced a “glitch”. Down for more than 6 hours after said glitch. Niiice. In other news, I got my desk and am currently attached piece k to piece d and f. w00t!
