Welp, I’m almost ready to take off for my first day at my new job! I’ll let ya know how it goes.

Wow - I didn’t touch a computer all day! Quite the change from the past month. In any case…It was rather boring today. Just your basic welcome to the company, fill out these forms, here’s a tour for you kind of stuff. I get my laptop tomorrow, though - yippee! That’s all for now, I’m rather hungry so I’m going to make myself some dinner. p.s. I’ve got business cards! :-O

Just what I need, more tv. That site is kinda cool though, it’s got streaming tv from countries around the globe.

Sweet! A whole bunch of name generators. OK, the Mr. T generator asks for your date of birth, social security #, and Mother’s maiden name! I would suggest not using that one. Sheesh… Apparently, it just returns your name as "Fool" if you enter that info, but I still don’t trust it. ;-)

Today, I need to buy an iron. My, what an exciting little life I lead…;-)

Cara was nice enough to send me a Case o’ Bawls for no apparent reason. I was completely flabbergasted! To make it even better, I heard a knock on my door and by the time I got down to it, the ups guy had left and there was a nice big case o bawls sitting outside, hehe. Thank you, Cara!!! Unfortunately, despite the “high levels of caffeine”, I know I need more than one to have any effect. ;-)

In other news, I’ve started hosting the dns for this site off my own servers. This means if my ip ever changes again, I won’t have to wait a week for dns propagation to be able to access it again.

My last weekday before I start my new job. I hope I’ve filled out all the necessary forms - all 20 billion of them. :x

Today, I’m going to visit a few more insurance places. (Anybody have any recommendations?) Then after that, I’m going to completely finish unpacking everything and clean this place up and make it look respectable.
